Normally I don’t write about the average to mundane catches that other captains in Key West produce . However Capt Greg Shertz , a good friend and excellent fisherman (305-797-5601) caught and brought in a 656 lb Mako shark . The fish was caught off the reef in Key West on March 31, 2009 by Joe Merritt . There have been a lot of big sharks in the waters off Key West lately and this video will give you an idea of what a  big shark looks like. Congratulations Greg and Joe.
