Key West Fishing Report March 8, 2011

What a great week of charters this week in Key West. Going offshore in near perfect weather  is really a bonus and makes for great times. The fishing has been steady with Kingfish dominating the bite. Tunas are everywhere but the bite is slow. Very frustrating to see hundreds of Tunas swimming on the surface at you and totally ignoring every bait under the sun. On days with South wind  ( about every other day) Dolphin have been showing up in the 5-10 lb range.  On the calmest nicest days Wahoo are being caught like this one. Sailfish have been scarce , but the time for them is coming soon. key-west-fishing-wahoo-0311-480x640
